Pumpkin Spice Playdough

A few weeks ago I featured this Guest Post by our friends, the Lueker family, in which the girls made Pumpkin Spice Playdough for their co op class:

We finally got around to making our own batch last week.

It was much softer than the Snow Playdough, and very aromatic. The entire kitchen and playroom smelled like Fall and cookies! Yum!

`

The Professors weren't as impressed with the smell, as Professor #1 declared that is smelled like 'Cat Food' (to clarify we've never owned a cat) and Professor #3 just wrinkled his nose and gave an 'Eeeewwww.' Professor #2 however, seemed to enjoy the aroma of the spices, but declared it looked like mud.

Alhumdullilah, in the end everyone enjoyed it and played with it for quite awhile:

Professor #2 stayed at the table long after the other two had bounded off to watch movies. I peeked in and, Masha' Allah,  for about an hour he was involved in making batch after batch of 'cookies' as he called them:

This was my favorite batch of homemade playdough so far, and, Masha' Allah,  I really think Professor #2 found the spices thearuputic, (as did I).

If anyone is interested in making a batch of your own, the link to the recipe is also contained in this blog post: http://thelittleprofessors.blogspot.com/2011/12/guest-post.html
