Baby Professor

Masha' Allah, now that Baby Professor can crawl out of his exersaucer hands first, that's no longer an option for him. He enjoys being with us in the school room, so until I can set up a place for him to play without ripping it apart, he has joined in with his own 'work' securely buckled into his high chair. This has been a nice transitional place for him, to also join us in story time after lessons. Here's a look at what he worked on with us this morning : )

Working with one of his favorite toys, Masha' Allah,  the Block Clock:

Here is a closer look at it.

Masha' Allah, Grammy picked this up at a consignment sale when the Twins were babies, so its held up pretty well!  Baby Professor loves to spin the hands, wave it around by the handle and take out all the blocks. When he gets frustrated or bored putting them back, he enjoys launching them across the room, or banging them on his tray till it drives me to distraction. Needless to say it keeps him busy for quite awhile, Masha' Allah.

When he was done with that he enjoyed doing a felt board farm puzzle. This puzzle, another consignment sale Grammy find, is great for him because the pieces are velcro, which makes them a little more sturdy:
