Choc-Oat-Chip Cookies
1 3/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 1/4 Cups Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Country Crock Margarine
1/2 Cup Crisco Shortening
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Large Eggs
2 Tablespoons Milk
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
2 1/2 Cups Quaker Oats
1 Bag Nestle Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Preheat oven to 375 (we didn't do this till the cookies were mixed)
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
- Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla extract until creamy.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture.
- Stir in oats and morsels.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets
- Bake for 9 to 10 minutes for chewy (we did the chewy)
- Bake for 12-13 for crispy
- Cool on baking sheets for one minute, then transfer to cooling rack or storage container.
