Spring Printables

 When Grammy was here, one of the things she brought with her were 4 sets of flash cards. One of the sets contained really neat fact cards on insects. Masha' Allah, they are popular with all the Professors, and we have specifically been studying butterflies and caterpillars in our circle time lately.

Coincedentally, a spring themed printable containing butterflies, caterpillars and bees popped up in my Twitter feed recently. I printed them out, and on a gorgeous spring like day last week, I opened a classroom window to let in some fresh air, then asked the Professors to sit down at their table and color the printables whiles I cleaned up, and got things ready for us to play outside. I set the Butterfly and Caterpillar flash cards out for them to use as inspiration in choosing their colors. Masha' Allah they worked for almost and hour on them.  Here are our Spring drawings.

Masha' Allah, it was nice to do a  easy, enjoyable activity,  and let some fresh air in on such a beautiful day, then take our free play time outdoors. We are ready for Spring!
